This is Coopérnico's nineth investment project. The ASMAL - Association of Mental Health of the Algarve is a Private Institution of Social Solidarity (IPSS), nonprofit, of public utility, founded in January of 1991 and with headquarters in Loulé. The objectives of this IPSS are to promote mental health in all phases of life, to offer greater diversity and quality in the services provided, to deepen the work in partnership, to collaborate in the social demythification of mental illness.

The partnership with Coopérnico will allow the investment of € 53 750 in a photovoltaic energy production project, with an expected output of 82000 kWh per year over a 12-year period. This production is equivalent to the annual consumption of 31 families and will allow the annual saving of 52.5 tons of CO2.
